probably nitpicking and not a very popular open opinion but
'what about the pineapple????' yeah ted said they NEVER found out about the pineapple so the writers stuck with THAT to the end
'it's not how i met your mother more like [insert witty remark referring to robin and mother's (sad but yeah, it does happen and that theory was in the air from the off go) death' W E L L ted DID say how he met their mother, at lily/marshals wedding, near the train station, with the umbrella, the writers DID THAT RIGHT as well
'injustice to robin/barney build up' no doubt about that one, maybe i'm reflecting off personal experience but again THAT DOES HAPPEN, i don't feel indifferent to it, and divorce happens and babies are introduced by other people and if anything this show hasn't been afraid of saying 'it doesn't happen the way you want it to'
moan about the finale forever, make up an even better one that would probably most definitely would have been better, or y’know watch the earlier seasons and laugh at them
my opinion will most definitely differ from loads of others, i sympathise, but i felt that it was only fair i include my own because I was getting tired of seeing the same comments (some were hilarious i gotta’ admit)
i didn’t love the finale, i didn’t hate it, i probably choose to remember the characters in a different way, and feel that this show if anything was real, not just sticking to what fans wanted but what the writers themselves wanted
i guess i’m indifferent (pretty annoyed by lack of marshall/lily oh and ‘how i met your mother’ not ‘how i met your mum’ kind of like ‘how i met your father’ not ‘how i met your dad’ because parents may not be around, that’s the way i choose to see it tbh)
